French Toast

Just for the record, we cut down and munged Alton Brown’s recipe as follows.

Serves 2.

Ingredients

  • 5 slices bread
  • ⅔ c. half-and-half
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 T sugar
  • dash salt
  • dash vanilla extract
  • butter for frying

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients.
  2. Dunk bread.
  3. Fry bread in butter.
