Immortality in the cards
The Seattle Times reports on an inventor who believes humans eventually will be immortal [del.icio.us scifi].
Ray Kurzweil doesn’t tailgate. A man who plans to live forever doesn’t take chances with his health on the highway, or anywhere else.
I’ve written a couple of stories about immortals with exactly this theme. The mere prospect of immortality has made personal health and safety Ray Kurzwell’s number one priority. It might be mine, too, if I weren’t a pessimist.
